ALPINE HERBAL INLAY
ALPINE HERBS FOR GOOD SLEEP
A further component of the Wenatex SilverMed® Sleep System is the tried and tested Original Wenatex alpine Herbal Regeneration Inlay. There are many medicinal plants that have the effect of relaxing us and promoting good health. It is particularly important to use medicinal herbs for good sleep as a mattress underlay. The Original alpine Herbal Regeneration Inlay by Wenatex contains specially selected 17 fine quality alpine herbs for good sleep to work in harmony with one another.
THE LAYERS OF THE INLAY
The exterior cotton case protects the herbs. The fine fleece below it ensures that the alpine herb mixture remains tightly bound in the inlay. The pure cotton fleece provides warmth and allows the essential herb odours to escape. The original Wenatex alpine herb mixture, firmly sewn into the herbal chambers yields off a subtle, pleasant fragrance. The original Wenatex Alpine Herbal Regeneration Inlay is an optional component of the SilverMed® Deluxe Sleep System. We recommend SilverMed® Deluxe with the Herbal Inlay as the complete system for your healthy and restorative night’s rest.
FINE QUALITY HERBAL MIXTURES PRODUCES REFRESHING SLEEP
The recipe for the fine quality mixed alpine herbs for good sleep has been carefully thought out. Calming herbs such as lavender, hops and wild thyme interact with anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic plants such as willow bark, stinging nettle, rose flowers and field horsetail. Eucalyptus is also added for the respiratory passages. Many different active substances are contained in alpine herbs for good sleep. As the herbs grow, they gather various nutrients from the air, water and soil, including hydrogen, carbon, oxygen and trace elements of phosphate, iron, sulphur as well as minerals potassium and magnesium.
THE EFFECT OF THE ALPINE HERBS DURING SLEEP
“Through body heat given off during sleep, essential oils are released from the dry, high-quality alpine herbs. As a result, some of these oils penetrate the human organism through the pores of the skin, triggering positive reactions. Inhalation is another key way of gaining benefit from the herbs for good sleep. Through inhalation, the essential oils reach the olfactory cells through the nose. The sensory cells absorb the stimulus and direct the odour via the nerves filaments to the vegetative nervous system and pass it on to particular brain cells, right through to the limbic system. They create sensations of calmness and relaxation, reduce stress, act to alleviate pain and assist with revitalising sleep. While you sleep, medicinal herbs can benefit your health greatly. Capture the healing power of nature night after night in your own bedroom.” Prof. Hademar Bankhofer
