Good sleep for a better life
Quality sleep is an important part of everyone’s lives, we want to highlight the importance of sleep through all stages of life and especially as we age, for your mental and physical wellbeing. As unfortunately, many older adults are getting less sleep than they need, with more than half of men and women over the age of 65 suffer from at least one sleep problem.
Sleep is essential in maintaining good health and being able to perform at our optimum level, not only physically, but also mentally.
At Wenatex we provide healthy sleep solutions for our customers. A part of this is providing people with the knowledge and understanding on how to better equip themselves for a good night’s sleep.
At our 55 Plus Healthy Sleep Seminars we aim to create a fun, entertaining and interactive environment for attendees, where we cover topics such as:
- The purpose of sleep in relation to the brain and body
- Current trends and new scientific research on the subject of healthy sleep
- The sleep environment
- Sleep hygiene
- Sleep cycles
- Sleep posture
- Discussion about any sleep issues that attendees may be having and practical tips to overcome them
If you believe your community could benefit from our Healthy Sleep Seminar or you’d like some more information, feel free to get in touch on 1300 858 139 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.

We had an educational (and fun) morning in the Village with a Healthy Sleep Seminar presented by Brett Jones from Wenatex The Sleep System. Lots of questions were thrown at Brett and he had an answer for everything! The lucky door prize was won by Chris and Kathy Anderson. Being the winner of a Wenatex Pillow, it was only fitting that Chris was the model required on the day.

The Healthy Sleep Seminar was more than we expected! Residents are still talking about what they learnt. Especially on the things that contribute to good sleep. Some of us are already thinking of turning the TV off an hour before we go to bed. Very well presented, clear and informative. We would recommend this seminar to anyone we can.

We found Brettʼs Seminar great! It was bright and very informative. He clearly explained everything, that was necessary at a level of understanding for elderly people. He spent a considerable amount of time dealing with our residents and their questions because of his understanding and commitment to healthy sleep.
