Shift work can play havoc with your sleep

October 17, 2018

Consistency is often spoken about when it comes to getting a good night's sleep - going to bed at around the same time each night and waking at around the same time each morning.  But what happens when your job requires you to do shift work? Getting good quality sleep becomes difficult. The sleep challenges faced by shift workers aren't easy to overcome but having the right sleep support and environment can certainly make a difference.

We received a message from one of our customers, Peter Samuelsdorff, recently that we wanted to share with you.

"Hi, My name is Peter Samuelsdorff. I have been working shift work for over 35 years. Getting a great sleep after working long hours (and being half frozen working nights) coming home trying to get a better sleep is the most important part of my days. Believe me, I tried everything. I found memory foam is heaps better than innerspring but getting the complete Wenatex Sleep System is heaps better than memory foam. Yes, I bought the whole system - base, mattress, pillows and winter quilt. I’ve never regretted it. Having silver throughout the sleep system means you don’t have to worry about dust mites. The quilt in the winter was especially good for keeping me as warm as toast. I highly recommend the Wenatex Sleep System for everyone. Also the staff are first class in my book."
